One hazy afternoon

..

Indeed it happened one hazy afternoon,
I thought of you, thunders clapped,
Thunders remind me of you

You frowned, you smiled, you disappeared in the rain
One hazy afternoon.

I thought of whispering your name, but the thunders
Cut my voice into ripples of lost memory
Ripples from a stone thrown into a still lake,
A lake filled with hidden monsters.

Thunders clapped and the rain started
Rain reminds me of you,
Your scent, your beauty, your smiles

As the rain washed away the pain but left the need
I thought of you,

Thunders clapped.

For a second or two

Only for a second or two
I dissolve into you
I drown in ether
And fly into the truth

Only for a second or two
You hesitate to accept
You resist the flow
You tend to protect
You finally dissolve

Only for a second or two
It’s all heaven,
It’s all beliefs
It’s all religion
It’s me and you

Only for a second or two

…mental NOIZE going…mental NOIZE going…mental NOIZE going…mental NOIZE going…

Creatures roam in constant flow
behind the shadows, beyond the show
they ask me questions, you know, do you know?
what is the best time to inflict a blow?

The treacherous mind,
ominous contemplations
withering conversations
rob me blind

the devious heart
rewinding recollections
connections, reconnections
are a new found art

The ticking clock
gongs in my head
symbols of cymbals
crash in my head
the bass and the drum
flash in my head
streets full of noise
blast in my head
white and pink noise
sweep in my head
love, lust, just
freeze in my head

You know, do you know?
Do I know? Does anybody know?
how to stop the noise; tell the creatures, it’s time to go home
don’t roam, don’t moan
just stop, go and leave the show

The treacherous mind,
ominous contemplations
withering conversations
rob me blind

the devious heart
rewinding recollections
connections, re connections
are a new found art
